Riding A Wild Horse Named Life
“Why worry about things you can’t control when you can keep yourself busy controlling the things that depend on you?” ~Unknown

Think of a time when things started to feel out of control in your life.

How did you feel?

What did you do?

Did you do everything in your power to regain control once more? To cling to that last bit of direction you had over your life?

People become so time consumed with what they cannot control and they grow obsessed with making things difficult. Not only for themselves, but for others as well. It often puts a drain on what your life, and makes your life's issues even harder as you try to handle what you're going through.

Be true to yourself:
When you focus on what is out of your control, it prohibits you from experiencing the beauty of having a peace of mind. The more you try to control it, the less you will be able to control other aspects of your life. Before that emotional burden is let go to of strong desire to control, you have to ask yourself a bit: "Can I, or can't I, change this situation?" because those are two completely different questions. Sometimes you feel that things are out of your control, but usually they aren't. People say, "I can't get into this college.' Mostly, it's not what you can't, but it's what you won't.

Every cloud has a silver lining:
When you don't feel in control, it is in the human nature to feel disappointed, to look at what you did wrong and obsess over how terrible the situation is. To go over in your head about how you messed up your life, and how you probably made a situation in which you can't come back from. When that happens, you need to take a step back. You need to take a long long at that silver lining in the darkest of the clouds. You can weigh the pros and cons more effectively, but also help make proper decision making by not letting the situation control you! You can take the saddle, and you can take the reigns of your own life.

Focus on what you can control, and not what you can't:
Amidst that chaos, and confusion will be a ray of hope. Their is always something you can have a control of, and an alternative. Channel all the energy you spent stressing, decision making, ranting and raving, making yourself think their is none, to this alternative because that energy you spent here will result into something productive, and not into you frying your brain.

Always remember,
their are going to be things that you cannot control in life, some circumstances you have to the power to harness the stallion and the problem is not the thing is out of your control. Te problem is that you are trying to hold on and to control it, when you can't. Just like a wild stallion in the hills of Montana, you cannot always harness them. Letting go is not a sign of weakness or giving up, but but rather the acceptance that their are things that cannot always be. That's what gives their beauty in the world. That's what makes the horse so majestic in it's untameable way.
